DO NOT AVOID MASSAGE BECAUSE IT IS AN UNKNOWN TO YOU

1.Before we begin the first massage session, as a professional, I explain what 'massage' is and how it works.  I also explain, in detail, what a massage therapist does.

2.Together we discuss and answer any question or concerns you have because your comfort is my first focus.  Knowledge will help ease any apprehensions and enhance the massage.  Each massage session is designed to make you feel better physically and emotionally.  Each session is personalized and all you have to do is experience it.

3. Don't eat or consume alcoholic beverages before a massage session.

4. Be on time. If you arrive late you will feel frenzied and it will take longer for you to relax.

5. In order to get the full effect of your bodywork session, the client is usually required to remove clothing, leaving the genitals covered.

6.Some people like to talk during a session, while others remain silent.  Sometimes talking can be a way to let go of tension.  Sometimes being silent can be a way of letting go of thoughts or concentrating.

7. Breathe.  Deep breathing helps facilitate relaxation

8.  Drink extra water after a massage.
